Sautéed Chickpeas - Great, Quick Snack!

1 Can Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans) drained & rinsed

1 Tbsp Olive Oil

To taste:

Black Pepper

Lemon Juice

Smoked Paprika

Turmeric

Salt

Garlic Powder


Heat olive oil on medium heat

Add Chickpeas

Sauté and add spices & lemon juice!


Can be kept in the fridge for up to a week for a quick, nutritious snack.


1/2 cup of Chickpeas contains about 7 grams of protein, 110 calories (olive oil adds about 35 calories per 1/2 cup serving), has no saturated fat or sugar, 7 grams of fiber (25% of RDA!) and contains notable amounts of Vitamin C, B6, Folate, Calcium, Iron, Potassium, Manganese, Magnesium and Omega Fatty Acids.
