Updated: Apr 11, 2020

UPDATE - All Wade into Fitness indoor classes are temporarily suspended due to public health concerns until we receive the "all clear" from County Health officials. This is being done to protect vulnerable populations and healthcare resources and slow spread of the virus. This suspension is anticipated through March 31, 2020 though the situation is fluid. Thank you for your support and understanding. Please check back on our website calendar for updates. We will be looking into innovative possibilities to help you stay healthy during this time. In the meantime, see our blog, newsletter, and Facebook page for encouragement during our time apart.

So what do we need to know to stay healthy during this dynamic time with the Coronavirus/Covid-19? So far, the US Center for Disease Control (CDC) reports 80% of COVID-19 cases have been mild. County authorities are making the following recommendations to prevent getting the coronavirus/COVID-19 and to help protect vulnerable populations:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

  • If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

  • Stay home when you are sick.

  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

  • Try to give the people around you a "social distance" of 6 feet.

  • Follow government for travel and other safety guidelines.
